When I was a student I went through all the 31-Day Experiments that Dick Purnell put together. Those quiet time studies were invaluable in helping me get to know where many of the great passages of the Bible were located (I had not really read the Bible until I was in college). The 31-Day Experiments also helped me begin to think about important Biblical topics.
Standing Strong in a Godless Culture is one of my favorite 31-Day Experiments. Dick directs us to look at various Biblical characters who lived in ungodly cultures and discover how they were able to stand firm for the Lord.
